SISTER*QUEENS makes feminist hip hop projects for girls* and young FLINTA*.
In 2023, the first SISTER*QUEENS Hip Hop Open-Air Festival took place at Festsaal Kreuzberg. During the day, MINTA* could attend rap, dance, graffiti, and beatbox workshops. In the evening, up-and-coming artists and established rappers shared the stage.
In preparation for the festival, workshops on rap, hip hop dance, and graffiti were held during the summer holidays at girls' centers and refugee shelters. In addition, girls* were involved in organizing the festival.
