SISTER*QUEENS
SISTER*QUEENS creates feminist hip hop projects for and with girls, women, and INTA* people. With workshops, concerts, festivals, and camps in Berlin and beyond, the focus is on empowerment, artistic expression, and sisterhood. Participants claim their space for self-determination in the hip hop scene, which is still dominated by men. People from several generations work together collaboratively. Behind SISTER*QUEENS is the Peira collective, as well as a network of artists, youth organizations, and cultural institutions.
Since 2025, SISTER*QUEENS has been funded by the Lotto Foundation Berlin—time for a redesign of its social media presence and project identity in general.
