Serviervorschlag – ein Audiowalk
“Serving Suggestion” is an audio walk that deals with seasonal employment in agriculture. As consumers, we are often unaware of the background to food production. The media provide an insight that is often one-sided and does not represent the complexity. The audio walk is a situational practice that relocates production to the supermarket and gives a stage to unheard voices. Based on interviews, the complexity and everyday life of seasonal workers and farmers in the Berlin area are juxtaposed. The aim is to impart knowledge to consumers while shopping and to expand the space of the supermarket to include the level of production. "Serviervorschlag" is the final project by myself and jade mauduit at the weißensee academy of art berlin.
